About

I am a PhD student under Professor David Bindel at Cornell University's Center for Applied Mathematics where my research spans high-dimensional and scalable Gaussian Processes models, Kernel Methods, and Derivative-Free Optimization. As part of the Simons Collaboration on Hidden Symmetries and Fusion Energy I am developing optimization techniques to design a fusion energy device, the Stellarator.

In addition to my research at Cornell I have also interned at Uber for the Marketplace team, and at Argonne National Lab, where we used optimization to guide the design of a particle accelarator. In my spare time I love being outdoors, rock climbing, and cooking.
