I am a research fellow in the Center for Computational Mathematics at the Flatiron Institute. My research primarily focuses on numerical optimization and AI for science, with the goal of advancing fusion energy and the stellarator concept. Before this, I was a machine learning engineer at Uber. I obtained my Ph.D. and M.Sc. in Applied Mathematics from Cornell University, advised by David Bindel. I received a Bachelors of Science from the University of California Santa Barbara, while working with Paul Atzberger.
